• Lupita Nyong'o was able to meet her mentor from when she was growing up. She clearly stated that Alek Wek had been one of the African women she looked up to for inspiration whilst she was trying to get her bearings growing up

• The Olsen Twins announced during their appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show that they would be launching a new fragrance line.

• SJC to be honored at the CLIO Awards next month for her ground breaking work as an actress and talent that pushes the boundaries of creativity.

•  Motor giant Ford is collaborating with five designers including Anna Sui to celebrate the Mustang’s 50th anniversary to create a one-of-a-kind apparel collection.

•  Dolce & Gabbana have once again been found guilty of tax evasion charges in an Italian court of appeals. The pair has been sentenced to 18 months in prison, two months less than their original 20-month sentence. We doubt they would actually serve the jail time they have been given.

•  Multiple award winning songtress Mariah Carey covers Billboard magazine and speaks about reasons why she waited 5years to release her next album.

• Chanel Iman stands as the face for the current OUTNET.com 5th Birthday campaign.

 Nicole Richie covers PAPER magazine and looks ravishingly beautiful.

Lupita Nyong'o has been named the most beautiful by People magazine. In my opinion I think she has broken a stereotype that beautiful must look a certain way and she has made people to realize that beauty is relative. I like the fact that she remained in her element and equally stayed true to herself regardless of the unspoken rules that may be affiliated to being a Hollywood celebrity.

As an aspiring fashion consultant, my goal is to be able to style different people regardless of their social groups, races or fashion affiliations. That is the beauty and the trait that sets a stylist apart from people, being flexible and being able to fit into any situation regardless of the kind of client that is made available. OLSEN SISTERS

I was scrolling through youtube to find a video about the Olsens and I was fascinated about how they spoke about their fashion line. Seeing that I have recently become interested in fashion videos, I was blown away with the video script, the editing and the way the twins composed themselves through out and thought to share with you

In my opinion, they are highly focused and simple and this video was two years ago but you can tell that they have an idea in mind and know what they intend to achieve. For upcoming designers, this would be a great video to watch.
